About Paul Ott
The Law Office of Paul Ott, P.A. was founded by Paul V. Ott. Paul has lived in the Jackson area for over 45 years. He attended the University of Mississippi and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration-Finance in 1987. Upon graduation, he attended the University of Mississippi School of Law and obtained a Juris Doctorate in 1990.
After graduating from law school, Paul started his practice of law with a large defense firm in 1990. While his practice there was varied, he concentrated his practice in the areas of bad faith, insurance coverage, motor vehicle accidents, malicious prosecution, premises liability, construction defects and products liability. After spending ten years with the large defense firm, he founded the Law Office of Paul Ott, P.A. Since its founding, the firm has represented a broad array of clients from large international corporations to individuals working to make ends meet. He has represented all of his clients with compassion, honesty and integrity.
Paul belongs to the American Bar Association, the Mississippi State Bar and the Capital Area Bar Association. He has been married to the former Julia F. Mayfield from Clarksdale, Mississippi, for over 20 years. They have a 16-year-old son and an 11-year-old son. When not practicing law, he enjoys hunting, fishing, youth sports and reading.
